The GE Healthcare 110V DC 1P1T Power Relay is engineered for high performance and reliability in medical imaging systems, including the AMX 4 and PRECISION 500 models. Its innovative design ensures effective circuit control while maintaining cleanliness and durability, making it ideal for demanding healthcare environments. The Power relay is a switch which uses an electromagnetic coil in order to close or open a circuit. It also contains an armature, a spring and one or several contacts. If the power relay is designed to be normally opened, when the power is applied, then the electromagnet attracts the armature, which is then pulled in the coil’s direction until it reaches a contact, therefore closing the circuit. If the relay is designed to be normally closed, the electromagnetic coil pulls the armature away from the contact, therefore opening the circuit. It is operated using a low amount of voltage but it also conduct a higher amount of voltage. These relays come in different configurations, and one of them is SPST (Single Pole Single Throw). The SPST power relay has only one isolated circuit that the relay is pass through the switch and only one close contact position per pole that is available on the power switch. The GE product is an innovation and a technology which fits well into versatile customer needs. Does not contain any dirt, dust, visible oils, grease, lint, fibers, rust, paper, chips, cleaning solutions, machining coolant, foreign materials and other contaminants. The part is diligently designed for high performance and reliability. It is securely packaged inside a high quality packing box to avoid physical damage during transit and labeled with details about the product, Quality Assurance (QA) seal and shipment details. Additional Features: Not water or solvent washable Leads are steel with tin lead plating The leads of the device is free from solder inhibiting residues Compatible to MIL STD 883B solderability test Part will withstand 220 F for two minutes Parts are packed in a manner to protect the leads from bending and the body from breakage
This power relay is compatible with the following models:
It is typically utilized in x-ray systems and other imaging modalities where reliable circuit management is critical for device operation.

The GE Healthcare 110V DC power relay is engineered to enhance the reliability of medical imaging systems, ensuring uninterrupted operation during critical procedures. Its design minimizes the risk of circuit failure, which is paramount in healthcare settings where device performance is directly linked to patient safety. By integrating this component, healthcare facilities can expect improved operational efficiency and reduced downtime, contributing to better patient outcomes.
In terms of maintenance, the relay's robust construction and high-temperature tolerance reduce the frequency of replacements and repairs, leading to lower overall service disruptions. Furthermore, the meticulous packaging and quality assurance processes ensure that each unit arrives in optimal condition, ready for immediate installation. This not only streamlines procurement processes but also supports biomedical engineers in maintaining high standards of operational integrity across imaging systems.
