The foam air filter is encapsulated in a dimensionally accurate curved aluminum housing, the curved outside of the housing comes with a wide deflector with mounting provisions and chamfered edges for perfect fit. The deflector comes with alternately bent flaps and 4x 5 X 8 mm long slots on the outside. The aluminum filter housing enhances it resistance against corrosion and gives a long service life.
