The Intelligent Spot Film Device Power Assist Handle Right is a part that is well known as a right hand power assist exposure switch assembly. Each assembly includes a two button switch assembly, a switch cover and mounting hardware. All parts shall have edges which are rounded, smooth, and free of all imperfections, which otherwise could present a safety hazard to the operator, the patient, or GEMS field service personnel. All normally exposed surfaces of ferrous material are protected against rust or corrosion using at least one of the following methods. All normally exposed aluminum parts are either anodized, electroplated or etched with acid and primed with suitable prime coats prior to painting. Threaded fasteners are metric and protected against vibration induced loosening (i.e., integral lock washers, etc. Loctite is not used). All exterior covers and other visible surfaces is finished with F-02 Mist Gray SPL-C per GEMS specification.
