The Total Lock Castor is designed to use with Ultrasound imaging systems. The assembly includes a tire, castor, release pedal, direction locking pedal and wheel locking pedal. As a single step procedure, to activate the pedal instantly locks the entire castor holding the equipment firmly in place. Similarly a simple step on release pedal frees the swivel and wheel. This feature assures that the swivel castor will not turn when the wheel is locked, thus makes it as an effective locking mechanism for Ultrasound environment. It has a capacity of bearing peak load up to 100 kgs. The tier of the castor wheels is made up of polyurethane. The upper cover, main body, brake plate holder, wheel locking pedal, releasing pedal, and direction locking pedal are all made up of Nylon material.
